Uneraser
Uneraser is an easy to use program that can recover deleted files from hard drives, floppy drives and other types of storage media on computers running Microsoft Windows. It can unerase files that were accidentally erased, even if you have emptied the Recycle Bin since the files were deleted, or used Shift+Delete!
Uneraser looks and works like Windows Explorer, so it is easy to use. Unlike other data recovery products it has been designed for ordinary users, not experts.
Uneraser can search your entire computer for recoverable files, or you can search specific folders for specific types of file. You can even search for files containing specified text. Uneraser shows all the files it found in a list. Select the files you want to recover, and specify a location to save them to. It's that easy!
DiskInternals Uneraser provides thumbnail and full-sized previews of files to be recovered, before recovery. This pre-recovery preview has two major benefits over products that don't provide this feature. If you can preview the file using the trial version of the software, recovery using the licensed copy is guaranteed. When files are recovered, the original filename is often lost, so the preview feature helps you identify the files you need and lets you choose a suitable name when recovering them.
New! Data recovery boot CD
Now you can create a boot CD and run recovery tools without risk of overwriting the hard drive. You can even recover files from drives that are unreadable. More information...
Uneraser can find and recover files that other undelete software does not even know exists! It's unique Power Search Technology - exclusive to DiskInternals Research - enables it to detect over 160 types of file including all the most commonly used file types. Don't waste your time on inferior unerase software!
Safer data recovery
Recovered files must never be saved to the same drive they were recovered from because of the risk of overwriting the lost data in the process. You should always use a different drive, such as an external drive or network drive. DiskInternals Uneraser offers unrivalled flexibility in choosing a destination for your recovered files if your PC has no other suitable disk drives.
- Direct to CD recovery. Recovered files may be burned direct to CD without any temporary files being created on the hard drive, making Uneraser safe to use when no other drive is available.
- Recovery to FTP. Recovered files can be uploaded directly to an FTP server such as the free "My FTP Space" provided to AOL members.
These options make Uneraser the safest data recovery software to use.
