It can be hard to find the files that are filling up your disk space, but DiskAnalyzer Pro makes the job much easier. It scans your hard drive or a selected folder to gather information about all the files it contains, and then displays it any way you choose. Instead of showing the results as graphs or pie charts, which look pretty but hide the detail, the information is displayed as tables, which you can quickly sort by clicking on a column header. When you see a folder or category of files that occupy a lot of space you can "drill down" on it by double-clicking, to see a list of all the files it contains.
When you have a long list of files you can apply filters, so you only see the largest, or the oldest, for example. You can filter file lists on name, type or path, size (including size ranges), date of last modification, access or creation, or by attributes. You can also create a custom scan, which in effect uses a filter to create the initial file list, selecting the files to show using a simple wildcard or by file class (compressed files, audio/video files and so on) as well as by size, date or attribute.
Unlike many other disk management utilities DiskAnalyzer Pro provides the tools for you to safely clean unwanted files from your computer.
